You’ve heard the rumors. Flip down glass windshields always break—but we designed one that won’t fall apart like the others. Equip SuperATV’s Polaris Ranger 1000 Flip Down Glass Windshield. We use a rugged steel frame and a clever combination of rubber seals and latches to make the strongest flip down glass windshield available. It’s DOT approved with a wide viewing angle, has two locations to add a manual wiper, includes a single manual wiper, and two BreezeRite vents. Interior thumb screws make it super easy to open and feel the breeze or close to protect your cab from the elements. We’ve thought of everything to make a better glass flip down windshield.
A Steel Frame Makes All the Difference
The key to making the most durable flip down glass windshield on the market is the steel frame. Steel is stronger and more rigid than aluminum to protect the glass from vibrations that could shatter it. The glass is held in place with our Secure Seal Technology, which helps limit vibrations even more—it also eliminates rattling, shaking, and water leaks. There’s not a competitor out there that could even bat an eyelash at SuperATV’s flip down windshield.
Rubber Helps Eliminate Vibrations
Your windshield is vulnerable when it’s laying down across the hood. We engineered a solution by replacing the standard aluminum clamps with rubber straps, which absorb vibrations and neutralize any force of impact. The included rubber bumper prevents steel-on-steel contact and eliminates energy transfer from your UTV’s body into the windshield. When the ride gets rough and bumpy, your windshield is cradled in soft rubber all the way around. You’d pretty much have to be trying to put a crack in this windshield.
Glass Is Scratch Resistant
Glass is the most scratch resistant windshield material out there. Even after days and days of rough riding, our flip down glass windshield won’t collect any sparkly micro scratches. BreezeRite Vents and a Manual Wiper
You got a flip down glass windshield because you wanted flexibility. We knew that, so we’ve included two helpful accessories to help you get the most out of your windshield. First, we include a handy manual windshield wiper. It’s perfect for scraping off mud or dust. Second, we include two BreezeRite vents. They’re easy to open with one hand and they give you a little airflow when you don’t want the windshield wide open.
Secure Seal Tech for a Rattle-Free Ride
Our Secure Seal Technology is a combination of high-quality clamps and seals. We use it around the edge of the glass in this windshield to seal out wind, water, and dirt. Secure Seal makes your UTV more comfortable by giving you a quiet, rattle-free ride.

Nobody wants to be in the garage when they could be on the trail. That’s why we include everything you need for installation. We even preinstalled the glass in the frame so you don’t have to!

You may return most new, unopened items for a full refund within 30 days of delivery. These items should be in their original packaging and have their serial number or UPC. Special order returns are at our discretion on a case by case basis. If you would like to make a return or exchange, you must contact us by phone or email and submit an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number before returning your items. This RMA number is usually written on the bill of lading (issued by the mail carrier's shipping department) or somewhere on the packaging. If you cannot find your RMA, one may be obtained by contacting us by phone or email.
You will be responsible for any shipping costs when returning an item.
All returns will be subject to a 15% restocking fee. Remember, if you would like to return or exchange your item, you must contact us before sending it back. Items returned to us without notification will not be eligible for a refund or exchange.
PlanetSXS is not responsible for fitment issues of wheels and tires. We do ask for vehicle data at the time of purchase to ensure you receive the correct bolt pattern but we have no way to know what kind of modifications have been done to your SXS. Make sure to measure in advance as you’ll be responsible for return shipping.
